This site is designed to be a forum for news on in the document imaging, information capture, and enterprise content management industries. It's edited by Ralph Gammon, publisher of the Document Imaging Report, and an analyst of these markets. After almost 20 years, the document imaging market is finally reaching maturity and being subsumed into the world of more general IT applications. This makes it a very exciting time to be involved with the industry.

More and more Doctors are moving towards EMRs. Have heard few hospitals have converted all their records from paper to digital. With the a large budget allocated by the Obama administration for converting all records electronic, doctors are using this apportunity to buy some EMR systems.
Still waiting for details on how the stimulus package money will be paid out.
DIReditor you seems like a doctor. The bill is already out, and i think must of the doctors should have received some kind of information of payments on EMR systems.
The issue of the security of these records is not receiving enough attention in my opinion. What happends when these records are sold to the highest bidder?
interesting blog. It would be great if you can provide more details about it. Thanks you
